Earlybird entered the livestock nutrition industry selling complete feeds in 1979. In 1985, manufactured feed processing began at the old El Paso mill. Manufacturing in our current Goodfield facility started in 1995. In 2018, the Roseville facility was completed and also began manufacturing feed. This second location has significantly expanded the territory handled by bagged and bulk delivery services.
Significant growth of the dealer web provided opportunities to acquire both the Chapin and Marionville, Missouri businesses in 2020 and the Triumph location in 2021. Operations in Chapin have been greatly expanded with the completion of our most efficient manufacturing facility in September 2021. Pelleting capabilities were added to the network of facilities in early 2022

Putting the ‘Earlybird Story’ on paper has honestly been something we have talked about for a long time, and when an email by Abigail Drewitz, the founder and editor-in-chief of the Stock Show Trendsetters magazine landed in our inbox, the timing felt nothing short of perfect!
